My daughter and I stayed here this weekend. What a treat! Monica was such a delight. We were here for a soccer tournament and she was always so kind to ask how each game went and to wish us luck on the way out the door.
The room and bedding and bathroom were all spotless clean. The view of the lake was spectacular.
The breakfast provided in the morning was some serious home cooking - plentiful and delicious.

I love returning to the Gyspy on the Lake! I always feel restored by the end of my stay as I return home to Ottawa.
The lavish breakfasts are served with the all the fine-touches of a luxury hotel. And Lake Simcoe is literally right there. So you feel at home and away from it all, all at the same time.
Can’t wait to return!

I would highly recommend Gyspy on the lake. Monica makes you feel at home from the minuet you walk in the door until the time you leave.
5 stars for the rooms being clean & comfortable. There are not enough stars to rate the breakfast.

I have been fishing Lake Simcoe for over ten years, and had I known about Gypsy by the Lake I would have not stayed anywhere else!!!
The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are fresh and clean. The breakfast was amazing.
If you left hungry, it was your own fault. In my opinion the only thing better then my stay was Monica. She is such a wonderful person and host.
She truly wants your stay to the best you have ever had and does not fall short in trying to do so. I cannot put into words how much I enjoyed my stay.
The fishing was great, but my stay was even better.
See you next year Monica, and thank you so much!!!
