Gypsy by The Lake, a grey cottage with white dormer windows and a flagstone path, on a clear summer morning

Jackson's Point, Ontario · Lake Simcoe

Slow mornings, a few steps from the lake.

Welcome to Gypsy by the Lake bed and breakfast, located steps away from Franklin Park and beach. We have been operating since 2002 and have been accommodating people from all over the world, offering a clean, comfortable, friendly environment.

The beaches

Two beaches, both within walking distance.

Franklin, quiet and at the end of the street. De La Salle, bigger and a couple of minutes further, if you want more room to spread out.

The beach at the end of the street — this is the one that’s steps away.

A small, quiet conservation-area beach with a sandy shoreline, a couple of chairs facing the water, and a sign at the entrance pointing guests back to the house.

A house near the lake with hospitality

At Gypsy we understand that offering some of the extra comforts of home are essential to give our guests more of a complete experience rather than accommodations only, so we offer full use of our kitchen and appliances. We will assist you as needed if you would like to prepare a meal for your family. We supply all the plates and cutlery that you will need to serve your family. Our backyard has a barbecue where you can cook your lunch and dinner, and also a fire pit for your evenings after your day at the beach. Roasting marshmallows over an open flame is a lot of family fun.
